What is your current availability?

My in-person availability is Wednesdays at Bloor/Spadina in Toronto, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm, and Thursdays at C'est la Vie Wellness in Oakville, 1:30 - 7:00 pm.

My virtual availability is Monday to Friday, primarily morning and early afternoon. I occasionally have evening availability (Tuesdays or Thursdays) when I have cancellations, but do not currently have regular evening or after-school availability for new clients.

How often will we meet? For how long?

That’s mostly up to you! I usually suggest starting with weekly or biweekly sessions to build momentum and connection. From there, we’ll adjust based on how things are feeling - whether that means continuing regularly, spacing sessions out, or wrapping up when you feel you've gotten what you needed.

Some people come for a handful of sessions, others stay longer-term. We’ll decide together what’s right for you.
If finances or insurance are a concern, feel free to bring that up - I offer a sliding scale when needed.

Is your in-person space accessible?

At Bloor & Spadina, my office is on the second floor. An elevator is available for client use.

At C’est la Vie Wellness, the therapy room is in the basement, accessible only by a steep staircase. If mobility is a concern, please let me know in advance - I can arrange to use a ground-floor office instead.

Both locations have gender-neutral washrooms on accessible floors.

If you have specific access needs, feel free to reach out - I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Will you understand the impact of racism, homophobia, transphobia, or systemic oppression on my mental health?

Therapy doesn't happen in a vacuum. I'll approach our work together with awareness that systems like racism, colonialism, ableism, and queerphobia deeply shape our lives and mental health. I won’t always get it right, but I’m committed to staying curious, being accountable, and creating a space where you don’t have to explain why something hurts.

This means:
– I affirm queer, trans, and nonbinary identities, and support clients exploring gender, sexuality, and chosen family.
– I acknowledge the ongoing impact of colonialism on Indigenous communities and aim to practice in solidarity.
– I’m mindful of how power and privilege show up - in the world and in the therapy room, including my own.
– I believe that resisting oppression is part of mental health, and that joy, care, and connection are powerful forms of resistance.

Do you offer sliding scale? How does that work?

Yes. I believe therapy should be as accessible as possible, and I know that cost can be a barrier, especially for folks who are uninsured or excluded by systemic inequities. I offer a sliding scale to help reduce that barrier where I can.

My current sliding scale starts at $125 per session (about 30% off my full fee of $175). It's available for those who don’t have insurance and for whom paying the full fee would make therapy out of reach.

I work on an honour system - there's no need to prove anything. I simply invite you to reflect on your financial situation, the role therapy plays in your life, and what feels sustainable. From there, you can let me know what rate within that range makes sense for you.
